Polyacrylamide beads measured with RT-DC at different flow rates Polyacrylamide hydrogel beads from the same production batch were measured with real-time deformability cytometry (RT-DC) at different flow rates (0.04, 0.08, and 0.12 µL/s). The beads were designed to have a Young's modulus of approximately 4.3 ± 1.5 kPa. These measurements were used to illustrate the correction of systematic errors for the computation of the Young's modulus in RT-DC (figure 10 in [1]). The reservoir measurement was added for the sake of completeness. The files were converted from the .tdms file format to the .rtdc file format using DCKit 0.10.0 [2] and dclab 0.27.8 [3]. Before analysis, the data should be filtered for porosity (1.0 < area_ratio < 1.1) and deformation (0 < deform < 0.035). This is necessary, because events were not always detected correctly (incorrect contour data) due to lack of imaging contrast. References: [1] Christoph Herold.
